"We Are Joining Hands"
Help for People in Tanzania: Sustainable, Collaborative, Future-Oriented.
Working Change.
What we want...

Fundamental
"A man is developing himself when he grows, or earns, enough to provide decent
conditions for himself and his family; he is not being developed
if someone gives him these things."
Julius Kambarage Nyerere,
1st President of Tanzania, from his book "Uhuru na Maendeleo"
(Freedom and Development), 1973
We are convinced that one of the keys to this lies in
comprehensive education and coaching, for children, youth, and adults alike.

Sustainable
In our solutions, we equally consider ecological, economic,
and social aspects. This ensures that the offers we make to people
are not only effective in the short term but also sustainable and
efficient in the long term.
We strive to develop approaches that meet the needs of people while
also having positive impacts on the environment and economic
development.

Together
COLLABORATION ON EQUAL TERMS: We treat all participants
equally, regardless of hierarchies. We respect the opinions and
needs of each individual.
TOGETHER we identify what is needed to improve the situation
and develop practical, sustainable approaches through creative
exchange.

Future-Oriented
We promote proactive action through trend analysis to respond to challenges early. Ethical behavior and responsibility towards oneself, society, and the environment are important values for us and our partners. We remain flexible and focused on our goal of improving living conditions in the Lindi region.

We think visionary and act strategically.
3 years of experience in development cooperation in Tanzania.
Expertise

The Initial Situation
In Tanzania, especially in the Lindi region, there are few job opportunities. Many people run small businesses, enterprises, or farms to make a living under difficult conditions, often below the subsistence level.
We aim to improve the working conditions of these entrepreneurs through training and coaching so that they can earn a sufficient livelihood for themselves and their families.

Empowering Women
Tanzania has a patriarchal culture, which is usually not extreme. Women in Lindi are confident but often subordinate themselves to men. They bear the main burden on the farm and in child-rearing and are often exhausted. Together with our partners, we will develop events for women where they can relax and recuperate.

Digital Literacy
In a modern Africa, the efficient handling of data and computers is becoming increasingly necessary, even for small businesses and small non-profit organizations. Together with our Tanzanian partners, we are developing concepts for education and further training on computers, particularly on the topics of accounting and correspondence, email and netiquette, as well as the effective and responsible use of the internet for one's own small business or office, with the aim of promoting initiative and responsibility."

Small Entrepreneuers
Small business owners in Tanzania often face financial challenges. Culturally, it is common to help relatives in need, which often leaves little money for their own family or for purchasing new goods. We aim to train them in budgeting so that a portion of their income is reserved for business management without affecting the cultural practice of mutual assistance."

Social Media Marketing
Small businesses and craft enterprises face the following challenges:
- Strong competition (several stores nearby offer the same services)
- Price fixing agreements
- Lack of creativity in products (e.g. soaps with identical colour and scent)
- Inadequate marketing and potential in customer acquisition
Through training in social media marketing, we aim to help build a healthy competitive structure and foster creativity. Social media provides these people with a platform they can afford, and they and their customers are already connected through it.
